SHAPING THE VISION:
The Napa Riverline represents an exciting opportunity to bring an experience like no other to the region. As this preliminary vision articulates, the Napa River’s natural beauty, environmental benefits, and recreational and cultural values make it a treasured, often ignored resource in the Napa region. Today, as the Napa region experiences growth and climate pressures, the RiverLine represents a prime example of how the community, as responsible stewards, must look at the future, continuing to use the adopted “Living River Objectives” as it re-imagines the critical role the Napa River provides.
Another way to appreciate the Napa River is from its banks, by wandering along the river’s edge and observing the wonder that comes along.

The RiverLine won an Award for Excellence from the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) CALED 2025 Award Winners! We received the award over 30+ other cities that applied and recognize how transformative and important this project is for our community.
